| Color the skies is an important event put on by Jennifer Coleman which takes place every Labor Day weekend in Ripon, Calif. Its an early rise and shine event but worth the sacrifices of getting up before dawn. Its a fund raising event for the Children's Hospital Central California. The hospital covers over 45,000 square miles, employs 500 doctors practicing in over 40 pediatric specialities, and has grown from treating 2,000 patients in 1952, to over 12,000 in 2006. Including 63,000 emergency and urgent care visits and 9,000 surgeries. |
